Shedeur Sanders will start for the Browns on Sunday at the Saints

If you're planning Sunday around the Browns, Todd Monken made it official Friday: Shedeur Sanders starts at New Orleans. Deshaun Watson is in and listed as questionable.

Watson returned to practice on a limited basis Friday but took no team reps, and Monken isn't sure Watson would be active even if he clears the protocol Saturday. Sanders took all the first-team reps Wednesday through Friday. “I liked his confidence,” Monken said.

  • Kickoff: Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Saints
  • Browns record: 5-3, on a 3-game road trip
  • Sanders' last start: a 20-18 win over the Bengals
  • If Watson isn't QB2: Dillon Gabriel, with Taylen Green at QB3

Watson was sacked eight times and hit 13 in the loss to the Steelers

James got loud cheers during introductions, mixed with some booing, and finished with a season-low eight points on 3-of-12 shooting. “Nothing can get as worse as Dec. 2 2010, from a reception standpoint,” he said. Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley each scored 22 for Cleveland, which played without Jarrett Allen and Jaylon Tyson.

  • Records: Cavs 5-4, 76ers 8-2
  • Sixers shot 36.5% overall and 25% from 3-point range
  • Biggest Cavs lead: 24 points
  • Next: Knicks on Saturday at 8 p.m.

The Wrap

A tea shop on Detroit Avenue is a good excuse for a chilly November weekend. The Tea Lab in Lakewood has been around since 2013 and carries more than 200 teas, including its own blends and an exotic Pu Erh, a fermented tea from China's Yunnan Province. Kettles and mugs, too. Steep away.
